Hat Patong or Patong Beach is a beach on west coast of Phuket Island. It is located approximately 15 kilometers from the Phuket's town. Patong beach is the most developed and most visited beach offers numerous leisure, sporting, shopping and recreational options along its 3 kilometers long crescent bay which is set in lush tropical gardens and surrounded by coconut trees. Windsurfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, swimming and sunbathing are among the popular daytime activities.

Patong is equally well known for its energetic nightlife, among which seafood restaurants prominently feature. Right behind the famous three-kilometer white sand Patong beach is a colourful place with bargain-priced, multi-cuisined stalls and restaurants, displaying all kinds of clothing, leather goods and Thai handicrafts. At night, most of the atmosphere is created by the scores of neon-lit bars and seafood restaurants.
