Puzzling World, Wanaka, Otago, New Zealand

Taken with Canon powershot A75, dated Nov 2004

The Puzzling World of Stuart Landsborough, located near Lake Wanaka, about 2km from the lakefront, in the South Island of New Zealand. It is an interesting place for everyone from children to adults. Puzzling World features "The Great Maze", the first of the world's modern-style mazes. It is two storey maze and has 1.5 km of confusing passages.

Outside of the Puzzling World building with the "Leaning Tower of Wanaka". This tower leans at an angle of 53 degrees to the ground and balances on one corner. The clock on the tower actually runs backwards. It was started on the stroke of the millennium and is ticking backwards into the 20th century.

Puzzling World also offering an incredible Illusion rooms, a puzzle centre and cafe, a large gift shop and eccentric architecture and oddities. Besides, there is a mural of the Roman-style toilets which is painted on a wall separating the gents and ladies. Fun to visit.
