Christ Church, Malacca, Malaysia

The Dutch architecture built in 1753, Christ Church is located near Jalan Laksamana and Jalan Gereja in Malacca town. The layout of the church is a simple rectangle 82 feet by 42 feet and is painted in coral red.

The ceiling rises to 40 feet above ground and is supported by a span of immense wooden beams that are each carved out from a single tree. The handmade pews found inside the church dated back 200 years, and so are the windows. Christ Church is reputed as the oldest Protestant church in Malaysia. It is now an Anglican church.
