Apsara, Angkor Wat, Cambodia

Apsara is a female spirit of the clouds and waters in Hindu and Buddhist mythology. They appears as young women of great beauty and elegance who are proficient in the art of dancing. English translation of the word "Apsara" is nymph or celestial nymph. Carved in abundance on many of the Angkorian temples.
