Takiroa Maori Rock is a large limestone overhang on a hill with great views to the mountains. It is located beside the roadway near Duntroon, in the Waitaki Valley, North Otago, South Island, New Zealand. Under the limestone bluff, there is an impressive collection of ancient Maori rock art paintings that are executed in charcoal and red ochre dating from 1000-1500AD.
